AMP incorporates risk assessment into the preparation of every mission, training, and event. We consider the relationship of probability & impact when defining the execution and identifying successful outcomes. At today's training in Patapsco State Park, the Training Officer took into account the frigid temperature, equipment needed, education goals, and terrain. Rest assured, the AMP Team did not sit long, but were soon practicing skills related to land navigation, extraction of patients from the woods, and how to treat frostbite! Gloves and warm socks were required.
