In good weather and bad, the AMP Team always puts the safety of the team, participants, and spectators at the top of their "must do" list. Last week was busy for AMP, with two major events in two days - much of it in the rain. AMP Team members built temporary shelters using sticks and tarps to keep themselves and their gear dry. This simple step can be life saving if you find yourselves lost in the woods. Bonus points if you choose to carry an emergency blanket - a very small piece of equipment that will help you retain body heat (note: this is not your favorite comforter from home).
